THE SINGLE SOLUTION - FLAME RETARDANT AND WATERPROOF

It used to be necessary to choose between wearing waterproof high visibility clothing or flame retardant clothing. Ballyclare has designed, in partnership with Network Rail, a single solution. Our range of flame retardant, waterproof, hi vis, anti-static, arc protection and welding protection clothing is exclusive and unique to Ballyclare. We have designed, with wearers in mind, a set of flame retardant waterproof workwear that can be worn trackside on the railways and in the industrial sectors. We are accredited to Article 11B European Union Directive 89/686/EEC on personal protective equipment (PPE). Ballyclare Limited can cater for all your workwear requirements. We stock a comprehensive range of incredibly high quality, high performance workwear. We specialise in industrial and safety clothing, and we have a dedicated range of fire retardant waterproof clothing.

It used to be necessary to choose between wearing waterproof high visibility clothing or FR clothing. Ballyclare has designed, in partnership with Network Rail, a single solution. We have designed, with wearers in mind, a set of flame retardant waterproof workwear that can be worn trackside on the railways and in the industrial sectors.

Our FR foul weather clothing is available as a jacket, over trouser and salopette to suit all job types and wearer preferences and requirements. The hi vis flame retardant coat provides waterproof and windproof protection while offering the highest levels of flame retardancy including protection against static, arcing and while welding. The trouser is manufactured in a high visibility orange background fabric with heat applied 50mm reflective taping. Over the shoulder adjustable braces with back panel to increase comfort and security.

Waterproof, anti-static, arc protection hi viz salopettes have a full length fly for ease of doning and doffing with zipped ankles to also help the wearer. Thigh pockets with flaps provide a convenience and openings are protected by flaps to avoid water ingress.

Flame retardant waterproof workwear is also essential for firefighters. Our Xenon range covers all the different sorts of clothing firefighters need to remain safe and strong. The designs of the Xenon range are revolutionary in terms of comfort and lightness, providing flexibility, ease of use and safety. Maximum protection is utilised with top of the range safety fabrics which also fulfil the requirements for lightness and breathability.

FR waterproof workwear from our Xenon range is designed with our unique free movement principles in mind, to ensure that firefighters are not inhibited by their protective clothing. We have employed the most cutting edge fabrics from the sports clothing industry to ensure absolute structural flexibility. All our flame retardant waterproof workwear comes in a male or female design and with a range of different colours and fabric options.

Our FR waterproof workwear is engineered to be used during any of the diverse operations firefighters might face in the modern world, such as RTAs and working at heights. In terms of product ranges, we provide firefighters' jackets, tunics, trousers, fleeces and coveralls.

Jackets come in a range of different options to suit your flame retardant waterproof workwear requirements. The Xenon Structural Firefighting Jacket has extra elbow room, glove grab patches, abrasion resistant fabric and quick release features for emergency situations. Depending on your requirements, the outer fabric can be PBI, Kermel, or Nomex. The moisture layer can be Goretex Parallon, Fireblocker or Airlock. The jacket can be worn with any of our range of structural trousers to complete your FR waterproof workwear kit.

We also stock a Xenon Layered Firefighter Rescue Jacket. This has a mid-level jacket which can be used for lower risk operations, and can be worn under a top layer which is designed to full BS: EN469 standards. Providing the highest levels of waterproof safety and together with the structural trousers, these are compatible with the standards for Wildland firefighting operations. Goretex liners make them resistant to chemicals, blood borne pathogens and body fluids. Again, the outer layer can be PBI, Kermel or Nomex. We also stock a multi-function rescue jacket which complies with several British Standards and is suitable for all training and rescue operations.

To complement the jackets, we stock matching structural and multi-functional firefighters' trousers which are spacious around the knee, with abrasion resistant fabric and again available in PBI, Kermel and Pro-Tek options. All our trousers are compatible with the structural, layered and multi functional jackets. You can mix and match all our firefighter workwear to suit your requirements and the unique standards related to different rescue operations. Visit our product pages for detailed information about the full product range, including tunics, technical rescue hi vis jackets, pump trousers and coveralls.
